Crime and Punishment 1-2

Dostoevsky is considered one of the greatest writers of novels. His works are distinguished by their ability to narrate that draws the reader in and by their strong expression of the interiors of the human soul. He expressed this in the titles of his novels that describe man in his various attitudes and behaviors: The Gambler: The Teenager: Humiliated, Humiliated-Crime and Punishment: Idiot. The novel "Crime and Punishment" is considered one of the peaks of human actions, as it is that mystery that is open to the human soul and what goes on in its depths, and which is open to issues of existence, torment, good and evil, love, crime, madness, whims, benefit, and disease. Raskolnikov's character is an attempt to understand the intricacies of human personality, offering a number of explanations, discussing the underlying motives and impulses in the subconscious that led Raskolnikov to act against reason. Dostoevsky puts forward the idea of the impossibility of knowing man, and forces us to look at what lies in our souls, and to find in them those passions that afflict his heroes, and how the human soul simultaneously carries the highest ideals alongside the lowest bases. ... How a man carries within him the strength to execute a crime and the desire for justice.
