A farce of the human mind

Dr. Ali Al-Wardi wrote this book in separate chapters at various times after the publication of his book "The Preachers of the Sultans." These chapters are not on a single topic, and I have written among them that they were written under the influence of the uproar surrounding his mentioned book, which may please some people and irritate others. In his articles, Dr. Al-Wardi starts from the principle that he says the new concepts that modern logic believes in are the concepts of movement and development, so everything in this universe develops from one state to another, and there is no response to its development, and he says that it has become a duty for preachers to study the laws of this development before showering people with their resonant sermons.

He does not, therefore, see in this book the glorification of Western civilization or call for it, but rather his intent is to say: It is inevitable that it is inevitable. The Islamic world provides the people with a harsh transition period, in which they suffer pains similar to labor pains. For nearly half a century, the world has been living in the Middle Ages. Then the new civilization came suddenly and began to sweep away most of the familiar. Therefore, in every Muslim home, there is a fight and an argument between the old generation and the next. The new, that looks at life from the perspective of the tenth century, and this wants to look at it through the lens of the twentieth century, and adds that he was expecting thinkers from the clergy and others to help their people from this labor crisis, but on the contrary, they were trying to stand in the way of reform. In light of this, it can be said that writing is an attempt to enact a new reading in an Islamic society that lives, according to the researcher, with the mentality of the past, in an era of development that requires religious visions and concepts in line with that lived reality.
