She used to spend long hours in her room striving to study in an attempt to change that societal view of people with special needs.

They see that whoever has a disability is unable to achieve anything. This bothers her a lot. She believes in her abilities, so she was hesitant:

(Why not??! We can do what you do not expect, God willing, for disability is not at all in the body, but in the mind and heart!

Negative thinking is what hinders success and achievement, not the body.

She continues her attempts to prove to everyone that she is able to marry her knight, even if the circumstances are harsh for them, like any healthy girl.
